Getting Started wtih Zip360
Where do I start?
Go to zip360.co.za/home, watch all videos, and read the FAQ to familiarize yourself with the process.
How do I sign up for Zip360?
Visit zip360.co.za/home, click on the plan, and complete the payment. Check your email. You will receive an activation email, be sure to check in junk or spam folders.
What do I do after I have set my password?
Once your account is activated, go back to the Zip360 website, click Log In after sign up , and enter your credentials to access your dashboard.
Domains
What is a domain?
A domain is the unique name of a website (e.g., yourbusiness.com). It is like the address of your website on the internet. Each website requires its own domain, which costs R99 per year per website.
How do I connect a domain that is already connected to another website?
You can disconnect the domain from one website and connect it to another, but one domain cannot be linked to multiple websites at the same time.
Can I buy a domain directly from Zip360?
We recommend you purchase your domain from services like GoDaddy or Domains.co.za. Zip360 hosts all your website files so you can edit and re-publish any time the client wants.
How long does it take for a new domain to become active?
It usually takes a few minutes to a couple of hours, but it can take up to 24 hours for full propagation.
Do I need to use GoDaddy, or can I buy a domain from another provider?
You can buy a domain from GoDaddy, Domains.co.za, or any other registrar. Zip360 allows you to link domains from any providers you choose.
Subscriptions and Billing
Can I switch plans after signing up?
You can change to the Yearly plan by going to settings, billing and then upgrade.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Settings > Billing and find the option to cancel your subscription.
Can I get a refund if I cancel mid cycle?
No refunds.
Does my subscription renew automatically?
Yes, Zip360 subscriptions are set to auto-renew every month unless you cancel before the next billing date. Only card payments accepted, no EFTs
What if my payment fails or I have no funds in my card?
If your payment fails, Zip360 will retry charging your card. If payment is not received, your account will be suspended.
What happens to my websites if I cancel my subscription?
You will lose access to change or update client sites. After 90 days, your account and all websites will be deleted.
Wallet Charges
What is the additional +-R186 charge on my account?
This is for YOUR Zip360 Wallet, used for additional services like email notifications, AI usage, and chat functions. It operates on a pay-as-you-go system (it works like Airtime). Refer to the video on this website explaining how this works.
Will I be charged for the wallet every month?
No, the wallet charge is a one-time payment and will only be deducted again once the balance reaches zero.
Where can I check my wallet balance?
You can view your wallet balance by going to Settings > Billing > Wallet in your Zip360 account
Can I disable wallet charges?
No, wallet charges are automatically applied when using services that require them, such as automated emails or AI tools.
What happens if my wallet balance runs out?
If your wallet balance reaches zero, you will automatically be charge to top it up with another R180. R180 will give you 11000 email notifications so it will last you a long time.

What is the additional +-R186 charge on my account?
Look for a layout of a similar business and edit it accordingly.
Can I link a payment processor to a website?
Yes, you can create a button and link a payment processor like Paystack to the button.
What is the strange language in the website templates?
This is just a placeholder. You need to change it to what the client wants. Use ChatGPT to help you or ask the client for specific content.
Where can I find the website preview link?
You can find it in your Websites section. Click on a website, go to the Preview page, and copy the URL from your browser.
How do I ensure the preview is correct?
Always save your changes before previewing. Click the eye icon to check the preview, then send the correct link.
Can a client edit the website from the preview link?
No, the preview link only allows the client to view the website. They cannot make any changes.
What do I do if the preview link is not working?
Ensure the website is saved properly before copying the preview link. If the issue persists, try clearing the cache or contacting support.
How do I customize website templates?
You can edit templates using the Zip360 website builder tools. Locate the help desk inside Zip360. There is a lot of help inside that tab on how to use the website builder.
Can I create an e-commerce website with Zip360?
Yes, Zip360 supports e-commerce features, but the payment gateway for South Africans is still coming. Once available, you will need to upgrade your subscription to use the payment gateway. There will only be one payment gateway integration per account, meaning if you wish to build stores for multiple clients, each client will need their own Zip360 account. The upgrade amount will be R435 per month and is coming soon.

Can I use Zip360 to build websites on a mobile phone?
No, tablets, Laptops or PC only.
Is there a free trial available?
No, Zip360 does not offer a free trial.
How much should I charge for a website?
Pricing varies based on complexity. Many Zip360 users charge between R1000 - R5000 for a standard website.
Do clients pay a monthly fee for their website?
It is up to you because it is your business, but yes, we do reccomend clients must pay to maintain their website hosting and domain, but you can structure this how you would like to. Create a monthly income for yourself by charging the client a subscription fee. We recommend R199 to R299 per month.
Does Zip360 include email hosting?
No, you must purchase email hosting separately from a provider like GoDaddy or Domains.co.za.
